Terry Walker serves as the current President of the Calvert Animal Welfare League.  She, along with her husband Billy and daughter Lauren, have been involved with animal rescue for the past seven years.

The Walkers are particularly drawn to rescue large breed dogs (American Bulldogs, German Shepherd Dogs, large bully breeds) who have been chained out, neglected, abused or suffer from health issues.  Those dogs at first glance who might be passed over by other rescues or the general public.

Terry and her family share their home with five dogs, three cats, two guinea pigs and always one or two foster dogs.
